Cache Creek Lazy Rafting (1-day) - A last minute one-day trip to Cache Creek to do a bit of lazy rafting with mostly water gun fights! Seven of us made it out there and although we were a bit rusty, we got the hang of it pretty quickly!

Pool & BBQ Party - It's summer! Water temperature is in the upper-70's, so nice! We felt we should share it with friends! Thus pool party! But, people get hungry, so let's have a BBQ! Lots of yummy food, and even though it was last minute, a lot of people managed to stop by and relax, including Marcus!

Stan & Rose BBQ - Surprisingly, our first and only BBQ for the July 4th long weekend! And what a BBQ! Stan purchased some crazy good pre-marinated black sirloin beef which was perfect for a leisurely bbq that we had. It was a nice way to wind down from an otherwise not-so-relaxing long weekend!

Crazy Cake Week - yeah, you read that right......it was crazy cake week! That's what it's called when you have 4 wedding cakes, 2 back-to-back delivery dates, 2 helpers, and ONE stressed out baker! hahaha! =)

Jeff L's Rental House party - A nice backyard party at his new rental place before he gets it rented out. Since everyone had to bring their own seating, it turned to be like a camping trip with nice amenities and poker under the night sky! hahaha!

Amelia & Kenbo's Wedding - After a nice engagement, Amelia and Kenbo got hitched in Campbell on a really nice sunny day! Beautiful ceremony with a very organized picture taking session afterwards. Since there was a break between the ceremony and reception, we stopped by for yogurt before heading to Ming's for an awesome seafood banquet!

Gemma's First Birthday - It's the little girl's very first birthday and what a memorable one it was! Over a dozen kids with parents showed up to play with slides, blocks, and other really amusing little toys in a big indoor playground.

Lynn's Birthday Celebration - What better way to celebrate a girl getting older than a good meal and cake, then have friends drowning her in alcohol afterwards! hahaha! Seriously, she probably drunk her weight in liquids! Good job!!

Jean's Baby Shower Party! - In case you didn't know already, Jean is pregnant! So, Maggie and Jane planned a little baby shower for Jean to celebrate their yet-unborn baby! Only girls were allowed, so Jeff and I was kicked out, but not before we were told to prep for the party! haha!

Sunday Swim Lessons - Yup, swimming lessons at our place! After only an hour or so of instructions, Lynn was able to swim properly, although holding her breath is another story!

Diving in Monterey Bay - My first coldwater dive! Yay! Too bad, I had to get up at 5am, so that we can make it down there by 7:30am to get parking at the good dive spots! Kelp forest were crazy, felt that I almost got tangled several times. Beautiful day!

Cherry Picking Day! - We started out with cherry picking, but it turned out to be more of a tour around the bay area! It was a nice sunny day and we started picking cherries at around 10:30am. Most of the good cherries were higher up, so we had to use ladders to get the good stuff. We played a few games - Cherry Picking contest, Cherry Eating contest, and of course, Cherry Seed Spitting contest!

Memorial Weekend Hot Pot - Like Tony said, the 29th is not really any special day, but he decided to make it one by throwing a little hot pot party! Turns out that a lot of people were available on a Saturday evening, so we had 3 pots going on 2 tables! Tony graciously contributed the shabu-shabu meat due to his Vegas trip!

Bay to Breakers Run - Ok, we really didn't run it, but we knew people who did! Milly/Jay ran the whole thing in under 90 minutes! We haven't even got to the race to start walking by the time they were finished. Lots of interesting people, especially the naked ones, who braved the cold morning. Chocolate Cake Tasting - With so many different recipes of chocolate cake in the world, which one does most people like the best? Some people like light & fluffy, some like heavy and dense, some like a light chocolate flavor, others like a strong chocolate flavor and still others just don't care and like everything! hahaha! Well, with a test group of 16 people, we got the answer!

Taiwanese Brunch & Pool Cleaning - It's that time of the year again to open the pool cover and check out what fell in. SO, like last year, we invited Tony/Laura to brunch. Even though he vowed not to ever be duped into cleaning the pool afterwards, he couldn't help but lend a helping hand!

Sea Otter Classic - Nope, it has nothing to do with sea otters! It's actually a biking event held at Laguna Seca Raceways where Alex, Tony, and Kevin J biked either 10 miles or 20 miles along the hillside in the area. If you're wondering....no, I didn't bike, I just went for the fair and it was a nice day to be outside. =)

Linda's Birthday Dinner - Technically, Rino planned a birthday weekend for Linda starting Friday night with drinks & korean dinner, then nice day on Sat and getting trashed at a bar (yummy after-math!). Then a Sunday show and a nice italian dinner with cake! Unfortunately, I only brought my camera to the dinner....sorry!

Spring BBQ & Poker - We had such nice weather, I've decided on hosting our first BBQ here. It wasn't a true 'themed' bbq, but just mentioned to keep the foods on the 'light' side. Wow.....what a difference! Lots of chicken was brought, salmon, mushrooms, fresh fruit, and man, sausages, a ton of sausages (and I don't mean dudes!). SO, I guess 'light' to most peple = sausages! hahaha!

Solid Trip 2010 - Rino/Linda's annual ski trip was blessed with fresh powder (maybe even a little too much powder!), a day of beautiful weather, huge cabin, and of course, wonderful company! Even though it was the largest Solid Trip yet, we were all able to sit around ONE dining table! With two days of snowboarding, there's a ton of videos (can't say they're all good though!) and pictures, so enjoy!

Stan's Birthday Party - Stan turned the big 4-0 this past weekend and with the help of Rose and Joyce, they were able to pull off a small surprise for Stan! What Stan thought was a small gathering for dinner turned out to be a big party at a local cafe in SF! Rose helped make an awesome over-the-hill cake with Maggie and Laura to commemorate the occasion.

David's Birthday Celebration - Dave's turning a new decade, so Lynn made sure that Dave had an unforgettable weekend! They had a nice dinner/show on Friday, then on Saturday, a bunch of us spent a nice day at Ft Miley doing a rope course, which turned out to be much more humorous than challenging! Of course, after dinner and dancing, Dave was gone, just the way he likes it!

Valentine's Weekend 2010 - Ok, I'm being a little lazy and combining a couple things together in one album. We actually went to Paul Van Dyke thing at 1015 on Friday night and didn't sleep until like 5:30am! Man, late nights like that can really ruin your sleep schedule for the rest of the weekend! The rest of the weekend was all about cupcakes and doing yardwork. Busy, but productive weekend!

Friendskit Ski Trip 2010 - Wow....a trip of firsts! Over 30 people, 8 cars in a cabin with 6 bedrooms, 6 baths, indoor pool, hot tub, and a home theater room! 2 full days of snowboarding and wonderful helpers in kitchen (both in making food and cleaning up). A really BIG THANK YOU to everyone for cleaning after yourselves and helping out. Everything turned out great at the end and glad everyone had fun!

Maggie's Birthday Celebrations - Yup, that's plural! With many people busy or out of town, it was difficult to get together and celebrate her birthday all at once, so I spaced it out this year. Ice-cream cake, home-made breakfast, Dan/JP cooked birthday dinner, and a tator-tot birthday ...food!
