Year 2000:
This was an eventful year - Mags' graduated and got a job at in South Bay, which is why we moved down there despite the fact I worked in the SF.  Lots of fun this year as evidenced by our summer trip to Las Vegas, trip to NYC (stayed in Manhatten, courtesy of Ted & Christina), and of course LA.  A bunch of new beginnings for our friends, as shown by the all the housewarming parties.  All-in-all, a good year except for me getting laid-off in Dec and our back-to-back car accidents. =)

8/20/00 Almost forgot about updating this site, but I finally had some time on this beautiful Sunday afternoon.  Here's a list of updates:  Photo Album and About Looney.  There is new page about Home Theater and a revised Computer section.

New FTP server has been set up:  ftp.checkauto.com.  There is NO anonymous access, so please contact me for access.  
6/4/00 It's been a long time since I updated, but I have been working on a website for my dept (ITAC) at Northpoint Communications, so that it would be complete when I resigned my position, effective 6/2/00.  I have last day photos here.  

I will be starting at my new job at Opentable.com as their new Webmaster.  I will be taking care of their website servers and network.  No programming or web development involved.  That's it for now.
4/20/00 Re-Organized the Photo section again.  Also, I have a picture of my computer network in the Computer section.
4/19/00 Alrighty!!  I added a new section to the Photo Album called AsiaSF!!  This is a place we went for dinner when Ted and Yuji visited last week.  Also, I have re-arranged the layout of the Photo Album, so that there's a little more organization to it.  

Oh, email me and let me know what you thought of the girls at AsiaSF.
4/5/00 Whew!!  Finally got rid of the ugly background!  Fixed the Photo Album, so that everything will look right.  Added some new pictures and kind of explained some of the more ambiguous sections in the Photo Album.

Check out the new website that I'm working on for my company's intranet site.  
4/2/00 New Photo Section under Snow Fun called Spring Break 2000.  Check it out!!
3/12/00 Finally had time to add the Family section in my Photo Album, although I'm still missing a bunch of pictures of people.  

Also, I recently upgraded the server, so the appropriate changes have been in the computer section.

Tomorrow is my first day as an ACTUAL employee of Northpoint Communications.  They finally offered me a position after over 7 months of working there as a contractor.  The offer was ok, about the same as I made as a contractor, but it comes with the benefits which is cool.  If you have AOL IM, my handle is 'looneyswu', so look me up!
3/11/00 Not much change for tonight.  Just changed the index page a little and took out some non-functioning stuff on my site. Will probably do more later on.
2/29/00 LEAP YEAR!!!!  A day like this is said to come once every four hundred years.  So far, it's been pretty uneventful as far as I could see.  

Anyways, new photos has been added to the Mags and the Dorm section.  Also, new links added.
2/23/00 Started to add tables to my photo album and in other places.  More pictures added yesterday and new categories!  Also, today I bitched out Pacbell Wireless Technician because they wouldn't give something that they said was free but charged me $20 anyways.  Also, on Feb 17  thru yesterday, there has been some office drama at Northpoint involving me, another tech and the management, but it's cool because the other guy was SO wrong!!  
2/15/00 Added some new picture categories with pictures.  Also, I added a little story about our trip to Hawaii.  More car pix and pictures with our digital camera.  More to come!! 
1/13/00 Added some new stuff to the site.  Check the Interests section.  Oh, Check Phil's website for Free Money opportunities.  Some of the stuff actually works!

Currently, I'm working at Northpoint Communication, one of the three major providers of DSL service nation-wide.  I'm a Logical Provisioner Tester in the Service Delivery Dept.  Basically, I configure Northpoint's equipment, so that it talks to the ISP correctly and to help our tech who are on site at the customer's site.  Easy job and it pays well, but gets rather tedious and boring. 

Cool thing about this job is that it allows for some spare time to do some creative thinking.   Thought up this cool idea for a website and decided to enter this business plan competition.  Hopefully, me and my hand-picked team will make it past first round.  More on this later.
